Unofficial Logo redesign and additional design elements.
As a quick WIP personal project, I looked at the Dublin Pride festival logo* used in 2022, and how it compares to other city identities. Most pride cities have an 'all-year-round' presence in society, and not just in and around the pride month of June. An example of this can be seen in the recent London Pride and New York Pride revisions where they add emphasis on the organisation's work outside of the festival times.
This was the jumping-off point to redesign the Dublin Pride logo. Something that can be used at any time of the year and in various social activities whether inside or outside the pride movement. Whilst this exercise doesn’t go into the same detail as the London Pride o New York examples, it's more of a quick, and basic look at what could be done and how these changes can be visualised in application.
*The logo referenced is the '2022 year icon' and not the skyline logo that is also used. All images/illustrations used are the property of their respective owners and are used here for reference.
